A mere 40 minutes from Budapest, the BOTANIQ Marientvalley Golf Klub offers all the very latest in golf training for newcomers to the sport and advanced athletes alike. With our golfing courses, not only adults but children as well can quickly acquire golfing basics. All of the club’s training staff are outstanding professionals with PGA Hungary credentials. With their help, even a complete beginner can be ready to pass the golf course aptitude exam after 10-12 hours of learning.
‘First Try’ Program – Start from the beginning
The first try of the game of golf. Our qualified golf PROs introduce the basic techniques of the game. Our goal is to show how fantastic sport the golf is and during the training you can taste the golf. All you need is to come and enjoy it!

Beginner Adult Course
The Hungarian Golf Federation, in collaboration with Hungarian golf clubs and federation golf coaches, has been organizing Beginner and Advanced Courses since 2018 to promote the sport and introduce golf to adults and families.
Recommended for beginner and advanced players
• The Beginner Course consists of 10 hours of training, including 4 sessions of 2-hour practice and 2 hours of exams, which can typically be completed over four weekends.
• Instruction takes place in groups of 3-4 people.
• At the end of the course, participants must complete a 1-hour rules exam and a 1-hour practical exam.
• Course materials are provided by the instructors.
• Upon successful completion, each participant receives an official "Green Card" (Platzreife) from the federation, which also registers them as an official golfer.
• The Green Card allows independent, unsupervised play on all Hungarian golf courses.

Advanced Adult Course
• The Advanced Course consists of 10 hours of training, including 5 sessions of 2-hour practice and one rules exam session, which can typically be completed over four to six weekends.
• Instruction takes place only in groups of 3 people.
• At the end of the course, participants must complete a practical HCP exam (minimum 6 holes) and a rules exam.
• Course materials are provided by the instructors.
• Upon successful completion, each participant receives an official "Tournament License" (EGA Card) from the federation.
• The Tournament License allows participation in Hungarian golf competitions (subject to HCP limits).

MCGP Training Camps with Martin Cummins
• Intensive 3-day camps from morning to evening, led by British junior development expert Martin Cummins, in cooperation with trainers from the Performance Program
• Strong emphasis on course strategy development
• Focused on the comprehensive improvement of all aspects of the game, from full swings to putting, with technical fine-tuning
• The camps are conducted in English, offering an excellent language learning opportunity—our instructors will assist with any language barriers
• The Golf School will organize 4 training camps during the season.

BOTANIQ Junior Performance Program
• Held every Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00, under the supervision of our PGA instructors
• Aims to build Hungary’s largest junior golf community and provide high-level training for all age groups
• The training is based on one of Europe’s most successful educational models
• During the full-day sessions, different elements of the game are taught through specific exercises by PGA instructors Adél Vadkerti and Zsombor Holló
• Participation requires a valid club membership at BOTANIQ Máriavölgy Golf Club

BOTANIQ Junior Green Program – The First Steps
Participants will also have the opportunity to compete in the BOTANIQ Junior Golf Tour series, where young golfers can test their skills gained during training in a competitive setting
• Two 2-hour training sessions per week on weekday afternoons, supervised by our PGA golf instructors, specifically designed for children who are new to golf
• Open to children aged 8–14
• Participants are free to attend sessions on different days as suits their schedule
• The program is led by Adél Vadkerti on Mondays and Thursdays, and by Barnabás Popovits on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 16:00 to 18:00 each day
